SCHOOL OUTDOOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES
As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic our site is closed for the time being. As soon as we have further information from the government on when and how we might be able to reopen we will update this page. In the meantime we are still taking provisional enquiries for July 2020 and beyond.
Outposts run school outdoor educational programmes including team building, residentials, leadership, inset days and overseas expeditions. We strive to create school outdoor educational programmes that are created with the curriculum in mind, build confidence, establish a growth mindset and develop ‘life skills’ for a brighter future.
We are based on a farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Somerset with a wide range of adventurous, team building and leadership activities on-site. There are rock and water sports at locations nearby. We have wooden lodge or campsite accommodation with both options fully catered.

WHY WORK WITH OUTPOSTS?
Outposts has been working with schools providing outdoor educational programmes since 1997 which are run by experienced, professional instructors.
Our operational procedures, risk assessments, insurances, equipment and content of accredited or endorsed programmes are vetted and audited by industry regulators, awarding bodies and associations. We self-conform to British Standard 8848 and are AALA licensed.
Our outdoor educational programmes, including residentials, team building days, leadership training and expeditions are designed to build confidence, establish a growth mindset and develop the ‘life skills’ young people will need for a brighter future.
We are a family run business and as such we pride ourselves on the level of attention we can give our customers. You are not just a number to us. We will always go the extra mile for you.
“The Bush Camp itself is an incredibly special place and the children are free to explore and play. We are extremely grateful for all that Outposts has done for our children in enabling them to be stretched, challenged and develop as communicators and leaders”.
