Albizia Camp is owned by Anton and Emma Roberts who have worked with Outposts for many years. They will be responsible for you throughout your stay there. The tented accommodation is in an open bush camp around a central fire.

TRAINING WEEKENDS

One full day and overnight—pick up the following morning. Get to know the rest of the group through team-building activities and find out important information about life on expedition.

Environment

Experience animals, reptiles, spiders and snakes up close. Learn about medicinal plants, animal tracking, spoors and anatomy. Cruise in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park spotting hippos and crocodiles. Visit the Kosi Bay Nature Reserve and 'spear fish' in traditional traps.

EVENINGS

Evenings are spent around the campfire doing an 'Indaba' to talk about the experiences of the day

TRAVEL TO HEATHROW

A coach will pick up and drop off Expeditioners and their Leader at Taunton Hankridge layby. For the return, members of Outposts staff will be waiting at arrivals in the airport to greet the group and escort them and the Expeditioner Leader to the coach.

Community

We rotate around various schools, so more people benefit. We are focussing currently on delivering anti-poaching presentations, but work may also involve gardening, painting, decorating, carpentry, playing games and generally getting involved in school life.
