Leadership and Prefect Training
Outposts specialises in learning beyond the classroom. By creating inspiring tasks, challenges, scenarios and adventure activities both cerebral and physical, guided by
Colonel Michael Kingscote,
and qualified, experienced Outposts instructors, our leadership training programmes aim to give students an opportunity to learn, develop and practice skills for life.
Leaders have to be able to communicate, command respect, be courageous and decisive; they should be fair, honest and have integrity. They need to be motivators and organisers, have presence, set an example and be reliable.

Individually designed programmes
We provide on-site and off-site team-building, survival, leadership and prefect training for both large and small groups. These can be day programmes or residential; a one-off session or a series of sessions aimed at developing skills over a longer period.
Programmes can take place either at your school or college, at our
unique Bush Camp in the Quantock Hills in Somerset
or in any one of our specially chosen
UK locations.
Leadership Training, Assessment & Evaluation
Outposts' delivers leadership training with
competition, assessment and evaluation (where appropriate) and where required. We are endorsed by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) and in addition to our own programmes we provide support to other ILM training providers in the delivery of all, or part, of their ILM-accredited training programmes.
