Fire lighting without matches Whether you are more 'wimp' than 'wild' or more Ray Mears than Bear Grylls our popular Bushcraft & Survival Challenges offer something for everyone. Run by experts they are informative, educational, very hands-on, great fun and an effective teambuilding and teambonding activity.

Outposts can include survival skills in most outdoor adventure activity programmes, whether as a stand-alone event or incorporated into a day's/week's activity programme or as part of an Outposts' progressive development programme.

Taught by the very best, the survival programme offers a memorable introduction to the countryside and how to survive off the land.

Fire lighting without matches, building a shelter, wilderness first aid, skinning a rabbit or plucking a chicken, creating a water filter or a bush oven, camping out, star gazing.

Catch and cook dinner Location: The itinerary is flexible and can take place in any suitably wild location.

The Bush Camp in the Quantock Hills in Somerset is an ideal spot, easily accessible from the M5 but well off the beaten track. It appeals to all ages and can be adapted to suit requirements.
